Parker Price-Miller Takes Fast Racecar Into Big Week with World of Outlaws

PETERSEN MEDIA: Continuing to keep busy over the Summer, Parker Price-Miller and his Destiny Motorsports team come off of a trio of All Star Races and a mix of PA Speedweek races and head right into a grueling week in Ohio with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series hungry for some strong results at the Brady Doty Classic and the King’s Royal.

“We have had some really good speed lately, and getting to a ton of tracks the last few weeks has me feeling confident heading into a big week,” Parker Price-Miller said. “My guys have been working tirelessly lately and I really want to get this thing up front and reward them with some good finishes.”

At the Plymouth Speedway in Plymouth, IN, PPM would get off to a good start to his night that ultimately saw him finish second in the Dash and line up on the front row of the feature event.

Settling into second when the race came to life, a lap-10 incident would see the Kokomo, IN driver get into the wall and end his night early.

Traveling to Joilet, IL the next night for more All Star Circuit of Champions action, Price-Miller would continue to display a fast MonDak Portables/Ft. Union Supply entry as he would time in fastest in time trials and finish fourth in his heat before winning the Dash.

Leading the field to green, Price-Miller would fall into second when the race came to life and would continue to run second as the laps clicked off. Continuing to chase after Aaron Reutzel, a late restart would see Price-Miller lose a couple of spots as he would finish sixth and begin the trek to PA to take part in a few PA Speedweek events.

Path Valley on Sunday night set the stage for Price-Miller and company as he would win his heat race from the third starting position and lock himself into the redraw. Pulling the six-pill, PPM would take the green flag from the sixth spot and would spend much of the night battling for a position inside the Top-Five. When the hard fought race came to a close, PPM would find himself sixth in the final rundown.

Lincoln Speedway on Monday night saw PPM time the Townline Variety/Agee Farms/CSI Shocks machine in 11th fastest in time trials before a fourth place finish in heat race action. Mired deep in the starting grid on the night, Price-Miller would roll off from the 16th starting position and would struggle to get going. Unable to make up ground, ‘The Law Firm’ would take the checked flag in 18th.

A tough night at Port Royal Speedway would see the team then set their sights on their personal PA Speedweek finale on Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway. Timing in second fastest at ‘The Grove’, Price-Miller’s fourth place finish in heat race action saw him line up in the sixth starting position for the feature event on the historic ½ mile.

Against a fierce field of PA regular, Price-Miller would find himself fighting to stay inside the Top-10 in the latter stages of the race. Slipping back to 11th at the finish, PPM and company would turn their attention back to ASCoC action as the Lou Blaney Memorial at Sharon Speedway would be their destination on Saturday night.

Timing in second fastest in his qualifying group, Price-Miller’s third place finish in his heat put him in the seventh row for the Lou Blaney Memorial feature event on a track that has seen him run well at in 2018.

Taking a liking to the high side of the speedway, Price-Miller would again put on a show as he was able to race his way into the Top-10. Running in eighth with just seven laps to go in the race, PPM would get tight on the cushion and it would result in him getting into the wall making very hard contact.

Though he would be okay, PPM’s night and long week of racing would come to a close as the team now prepares for the Brad Doty Classic and King’s Royal.

“It has been a long, long couple of weeks with a ton of racing and if I didn’t have the team behind me it wouldn’t be possible,” PPM added. “We have a really good car right now, it is on me to get better and I am looking forward to showing what we can do at Attica Raceway Park tonight and Eldora Speedway later this week. Again, huge thanks to Noisey, Kevin, Tyler, as well as Rick and Barb Rogers and all of our partners.”

Destiny Motorsports would like to thank MonDak Portables, Ft.
